So this morning I woke up 3.5 hours earlier that what I normally do. I took my temp because I knew I wouldn't get the 4 hours your suppose to get in order to get the correct temp. Then I went back to sleep on and off until I woke up for work and took my temp again at the normal time. So my question is do I take the normal time or the earlier time? I know if I take the earlier time I need to adjust the temp, but the reason I am so confused is because it was a huge spike. HUGE. Any advice would be welcome.

I'm brand new at this temping thing too and I wish I could help you. I know someone else on here will be able to answer that question for you.

I've asked something like this before, and from what I understand you should take the first temp and adjust it. But I'm new at temping as well. Think of it this way, if you're tossing and turning or moving around trying to sleep you're probably making your body temperature fluctuate.

But try not to resort to it like daily, but in cases like your's I think it helps. I def have to use it at times!
