Ok, more about me!

I'm 22, DH is Branden, 25. We got married on halloween 2009, and yes... guests wore costumes. lol. We have 3 kitties, Barlow, Sylas and Gohan. We bought our first house earlier this year (april) and we're still sort of unpacking. lol!

We are TTC naturally because our insurance doesn't cover any fertility treatment. *sigh* So as soon as my next cycle starts (supposed to start any day now, but I have progesterone to take if it doesn't) I'm going to do soy iso. And I'm charting w/ Ovacue.

I'm Lindsay (26) with DH Chris (28), and we are also TTC #1. I had an ectopic back in April and now my left tube is blocked, and my PCOS definitely got worse because of even the small amount of weight I gained after the surgery. But we are still hoping and trying, it might be a long road, but don't give up is all I have to say.

I hear you on the insurance not covering any fertility meds! That is where we are at - I can't get anyone to prescribe metformin for me and can't afford to go to an RE. WE have been ttc #3 for nearly 3 years, with a m/c in June of 2010.

Ovacue is different from the CBFM. It measures the electrolytes in your saliva (with the oral sensor) and in your CM (with the optional vaginal sensor.) It can predict ovulation up to 7 days in advance, and if you're using the vaginal sensor too, it can CONFIRM ovulation after!

It's great for anyone with an irregular cycle, because it doesn't measure your levels of anything against some predetermined number. It measures you against YOU, so it works for everyone.

It's more expensive than CBFM starting out, but since you don't have to buy sticks, it works out to be about the same price, I think. And not having to pee on anything makes it worth it to me. lol. Plus, you don't have to chart other things (temp, cm, etc.) because it does it all for you.

I got mine sent to me for review, but I would recommend it even if I'd bought it myself. It's an awesome thing to have! And you can use it for natural family planning also, which is fantastic.
