I greatly dislike OBEM. I saw the very first episode of it, the one with the mom who kept saying "ooooooooooopen" over and over- and it REALLY angered me how they kept pushing pitocin on her.

I'm a huge natural birth advocate, so that sh*t doesn't fly well with me. :/

Oh I bawled like a baby when Robin had her baby. Then when she said that she would be Merrie's surrogate. The tears just wouldn't stop.

^^ ditto - I cried my eyes out when Robyn had the baby - never even heard of one born every minute - sounds like that is a good thing - I yell at tv shows when they clearly have a pro-intervention message! LOL

One born every minute just shows a hospital. Typically hospital's arent as supportive of natural births as birth centers or etc so thats why it came off that way.

I haven't really seen the same issue come up again but to each their own.

I'm another one who can NOT watch birth shows on television. I end up yelling and wanting to throw things, they make me so angry.

I would love to watch sister wives, but can never seem to find it when it's on...
