Getting Pregnant

I made it to 12 dpo and just had to test, so I did this morning with my walmart-brand early response and got a bfn.

Yeah.... I know I'm a few days before my period is due, but the test was completely white in the testing section, no hint of a shadow of a line. SO now I get to look forward to AF in the next 2-4 days.

Just disappointed I guess. We can always try again next time, its just with PCOS who knows when next time will be.

I forget are you temping to confirm O or just opk's?

I've been temping too, and my temp definitely went up, but was not in the least triphasic, and has been on the low end of high towards the end. I have to go to work now, but I'll try to add a pic of my chart later. I don't know if you guys can see it if you go to this link or not:

It says I don't have permission to view your chart, but let me say triphasic doesn't mean a **** thing. You can have a triphasic chart and be pregnant or have a triphasic chart and not be pregnant. The only BFP chart I have is at the bottom of my FF homepage and as you'll see if you look at it, it's nowhere near triphasic. Triphasic just means you had a second shift and you may or may not be pregnant. Just like a dip may or may not be an implantation dip and spotting may or may not be implantation spotting.

That said, it's not over until the witch shows!

So Anna, is the green line on your chart a line from when you got preg. before? I was worried that my temps never seemed to go too high off the coverline, but from the opk and the intense pain I felt the thurs. it looks like I o'd then I figured that I probably had. Plus the BFN, my cramps, and SUPER SORE bbs means I'm probably going to see AF in the next couple days...

Your chart actually looks pretty good. You may get a later BFP. I'm not sure if you can search charts on TCOYF, but on FF you can search for charts that didn't get a BFP until 15 DPO or later. There are a lot of them.

The green line on my overlay is from my last Clomid BFP. It doesn't mean that a new one would follow the same pattern, but the similarity is comforting. KWIM?

Also, I got some Vitex that I want to try this cycle... has anyone done it before or know how much/how often I should take it? I got in in 400mg tablets. I also have Evening primrose oil that I took once a day and it seemed to help with my CM (not that I've had a problem with CM, but it did seem wetter this time around). Does anyone know if I can take both Vitex AND EPO?

I haven't ever taken Vitex before, but I do know that EPO is a good supplement to take, but that it's not recommended to take after a confirmed O because it can cause uterine cramping...
