Okay ladies, sorry we JUST got home from Louisville. Basically DH is fine as far as the veins and testicles and all that good jazz. He drew blood to check testosterone and everything and depending on that will depend on the meds he's on but he's keeping him on clomid for now. We don't hafta go back to him for a year so that's good. He told him to lose weight as expected, though he said that weight loss alone doesn't usually have a huge impact on sperm even though you would assume it would and if it did it might take 2-3 years to really see the full difference and he said to take (
Coast Science | Helping Families Lead Healthy Lives | ) that supplement twice a day(instead of 4x like they say) and that with that and the meds he'd give us and weightloss we should see improvement in a few months giving us perfect timing to start IUI's in a few months. He really didn't seem to think DH was "that" bad even though my OB thought so. I guess to her its bad but to what he sees its probably not that bad. So I guess all in all my $200 was well spent because now I *know* there's nothing that needs surgery to fix and I know *how* to fix things. He seemed pretty hopeful even with the numbers we had now. He said that if I ovulated normally and had been trying for 2 years then he would know that DH's sperm was a problem but he said that since I haven't been that we only think it *might* be a problem. He seems to think that with the numbers we had right then that we actually have a chance and things only get better from here. So I'm feeling pretty positive.
