Wow Natasha!! That is dedication to Zumba, there.. I can't wait for appointment updates for everyone!!
I am so happy that I am getting regular cycles on my own for the first time in my life. I really am glad I did the surgery.. just waiting for the BFP now!! I am so close to it now and optimistic.. If it doesnt happen this cycle, DH is getting checked out because we did everything right..

Melissa I love to hear how positive you are and staying so optimistic!!! You should def. get your DH checked out, I only say this because its such an easy thing to do and can possibly ease your mind even more. Hopefully you get that BFP this cycle tho!!!

DH said he didn't mind getting checked out. The only issue is, now that the military doctors have decided to send him to the states to medically get out they don't want to pay for anything else and won't do anything for him because it comes out of their budget instead of the budget of where he is going designated for medical issues. They are so stingy.. exactly why I am not for universal health care.. standards for care go WAY down!! Anyway, If I want him to get checked I have to see if I can get my german doctor to do anything about it. I have to set an appointment anyway for when I should be getting my period.. If I get it, I guess it is another round of clomid.. but if I don't get it, he will verify pregnancy.
It's been quiet here. I hope everyone is great.

Hi everyone, I am HOME!!!!!!! Lily was discharged yesterday. Now I can get back to temping and BDing...hehe.
Good luck to everyone in the TWW!
Ok so question, my last cycle I O'd on CD 24, the previous cycles I O'd on CD 18 and CD 19. So, I have no clue when to start using OPKs this cycle. Any guesses?? Today is CD 11...
Jess

Melissa- I love your attitude and I hope your german doc will check DH for you! You never can tell. But try not to get focused on it. We also have MFI, my RE actually told me he questioned whether we'd be able to conceive short of IVF with DH's lower count and motility. Well, guess what! Not all experts know everything! BUT I hope this is your cycle and you don't have to worry about it!
Jess- Yay for Lily being back home! What a blessing! Now, get to using opks and bd'ing so that we will have someone else to obsess about! Also, I also think that maybe around cd15-16 (at the latest) I'd start using opks. I agree, if you can stock up on the ic strips, then I'd start in the next few days for sure!
As for me, I'm doing pretty good. I broke down and took a zofran this evening and well, it's a miracle drug! (I know about the s/e... but this evening I was willing to deal, had a meeting to go to) I have only been going that route if I have to. Otherwise, ginger ale, tums, and saltines have been doing the trick!
I'm going to head to bed, hope all of you are doing great!!

Zofran has been a life saver!!! I still take it every now and then... sometimes you have to pick your battle... constipation vs constant nausea/vomiting

I never heard of Zofran before.. but also never been preggo. I am learning all sorts of new things..
As for me, no Paris Saturday. Not enough people signed up so they just called to cancel. They say that March 5th's trip looks good. So, we are signing up for that one. I hope it goes through. Also, I have come to the conclusion that I am really bad at temping. I don't know if it is all that trustworthy because I haven't been getting it done at the exact same time daily... plus, I just had a mole removed on my arm and a few stitches so I think temps are a little higher as it is healing.. I do know now that I am on a regular cycle post-surgery.. so, I know when I should test. This TWW is really annoying! 7DPO today.. so, next Friday I should test since that is when AF should appear.

Melissa - Good luck with your TWW! Too bad about Paris... I usually do pretty well with temping but honestly it doesn't seem to be going anywhere for me, so maybe it's just as well, hey?
Jess - Glad to hear you guys are back at home and feeling better!
I have had MAJOR s/e from the Met - I went up to my full dose 2 days ago and WOW. I told DH I was not going to work the rest of the week because, man, it really hit me hard. It has basically been making me nauseous almost constantly - even when I take my last pill at dinner, it is still making me feel sick through to lunch the next day! Evenings are the worst, I am SO uncomfortable with bloating, nausea, cramps... I'm hoping it will get better in a couple of days.
Also my BFF sent me a photo yesterday (she lives far away from here) of her belly that has just popped. My first thought was, "I look more pregnant than you do just from the bloating." The second thought was, "F*ck this sucks." She is very considerate and she doesn't overload me with PG stuff, but it still stings sometimes... And then of course I feel like a bad person!!!
Anyway, I hope you ladies are having more fun than I am!

Fil, going on the Metformin is tough. I ran out two days before Lily was hospitalized, so I went about a week off of it, and going back on I had a few side effects again on Monday. BUT it DOES get better! And once your body adjusts, you should have NO issues unless you miss a week like I did

I don't know if you know, but incase you don't, try to notice the things you are eating with your Met. Sometimes certain foods increase the side effects. Just an FYI
And I know that I'm pregnant, and my word might not sound like much, but I know how you feel about your friend! Before we got our BFP I got to see 3 friends get pregnant AND have their children. It sucked butt! Just keep positive, your day will happen! It HAS to

Aubrey - I didn't know that about the Met! I haven't really been paying attention to what I'm eating, although I have noticed that I have *no* desire for sugary desserts whatsoever since starting on it. I ate whole wheat semolina pasta for lunch today and it hit me like a ton of bricks before I'd even finished eating. I have noticed that I usually feel better after eating fruit or hard-boiled eggs for breakfast so maybe I will start having those at later meals too.
Jess - I am REALLY hoping that I will adjust soon and won't have much trouble. I can't continue like this for too much longer!! I have a doc appointment in about a week, so if things haven't improved by then I will discuss it at the appointment.
Anyway, even though I'm not working today, I am starting a new job soon and I need to bring in the paperwork today. Which means I need to haul my butt off the couch and get ready to go out! Hopefully the fresh air will help me feel better.
Oh and I *just* got an email from BFF saying she is having a (probably minor) PG scare and is freaking out a bit... I really think everything will be fine but it's a good reminder to me to keep things in perspective and be a supportive friend...

Hey ladies-
Jess I am so glad to hear Lily is out of the hospital and home...wishing her a speedy recovery.
Fil- I found if I took my Met right before bed I was much better off because the majority of the time it made me miserable I was asleep. The girls are right though it took about 2-3 weeks until I got used to it and it no longer impacted me. When you miss doses it seems to set you back into the nasty side effects, like Jess is dealing with now.
I had a follow up u/s today...pics and details can be see in my journal for those interested.

Amanda - DUST!
Brandy - I'm going to try taking my 2nd Met pill before bed tonight instead of with dinner... hopefully I can sleep through the nausea.
I just found out I will have about 2 weeks before I start getting shifts at my new job, so hopefully the s/e will be minimal by then... I will be doing 12-hour shift work (nights and days) so I really need my body to get its act together!

Well my temps seem to be going back down a little ... I am pretty sure I'm out this month ... but I won't know for sure till AF shows up. If I'm actually on a "normal" cycle then I should see AF either this weekend or as late as Monday. If we didn't catch the eggy I really hope I have a normal cycle and I don't go waiting another 30 days for AF to show up!!
Sending you tons and tons of dust your way Manda!!!
Fil ... I found that as long as I was taking my met with food and LOTS AND LOTS of water my side effects got less and less as the days went on.
Brandy ... awesome US pic!!
Melissa how is your TWW going?

Ok ladies so I just realized we are pretty far from our goal of 350!!! What happened?! We were all doing so good at the beginning!! Hopefully I can still keep touch over the next few days. We leave for Myrtle Beach Sunday(for a week) and I am PRAYING that the weather is nice there! I want to go swimming SOOOOOO bad!!! I want to lay out by the ocean and get some sun since I am unable to use the tanning beds. I am so pasty it's not even funny! Anyone else have anything exciting going on this weekend??? I'm more then ready for this vacation, just wish I didn't have all this cleaning to do before we leave. Thought about leaving it for my sister in law since she is staying here, but my luck, it would all still be here when we got back LMAO. I'm really nervous about leaving too. Last time she watched our house it was a disaster when we got home. DH told her this is her last chance at doing things right. I don't mind her having friends over and what not, and I guess I should be happy nothing was ruined and my dogs were still alive when we got home. But I'm still just really nervous. My dogs are like my children and I just want someone to take care of them properly! So hopefully she does. I know last time when she watched our house my mom had drove by on her way to the store and the dogs were out, and when she drove back by on her way home they were still out, and our big dog was panting like crazy. Prayers she does better this time. Being older and talked to about it she better. ok ok I'm sorry I'm rambling.... Hope y'all have a good Friday!!!
