Sorry I've been away for a while. I took 2 months off to try FertilAid, and it didn't work. So I'm back now. lol. According to OvaCue, I'm now in the 2WW. Not super confident about our timing this cycle since ovacue told me I was supposed to O on friday, and then confirmed ovulation for WEDNESDAY. Which, btw... was CD11. *headdesk* We hadn't BD'ed since late sunday night or early monday morning (depending on how you look at it.) and then BD'ed again last night. I hope something comes out of it, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
How is everyone? Congrats Aubrey on your baby girl!
I was so ****** for a few days on the soy. lol. Felt bad for DH!
OvaCue predicts your most fertile days using your saliva and the electrolytes in it. It looks for a shift in hormones to tell you up to 7 days before you O. It predicted Friday for my most fertile day. There's also a vaginal sensor that will tell you definitely- yes, you ovulated. It also looks for a shift in hormones, but in your CM instead of your saliva. So it's possible that the salivary reading could have been off by a couple of days. Unlikely, but possible.
You can check out ovacue.com for more info about how it works. I'm not very good at explaining. It's nice because you don't have to pee on anything, but since the numbers of the readings are arbitrary and only mean something in the realm of Ovacue, it's hard to know for sure what you've got. (The readings give you a number between 1 and 399. There's no real correlation to what that means in terms of like.. iu or anything. Kind of confusing.)
