My parents are in Washington State now.. They are still military, too.. so they will be moving in the next year or two. We are going back somewhere on the east coast.. so probably not going to be anywhere nearby.. probably at least a 5 hour flight away.. but flying within the states is much more affordable than flying from Germany! I am not going to spend $3,000 for tickets to see my parents. I love them but that much money could be so much better used. They're in their mid 40s now.. not like I really have to worry. If they were old.. maybe. I did visit our grandparents this last summer, though.. so I feel ok. I see you are 6DPO, Sarah Ann.. Fingers crossed!!

Well I'm 7DPO today ... and last evening I had the weirdest cramping going on that I have ever felt. I also can't seem to get enough sleep the last 3 days. But seeing as I have never really had all these hormones coursing through my body before it could just be normal signs of AF going to show in the next week ... I am going out today to pick up a few tests ... one for tomorrow morning because I think it would just be absolutely awesome to test and get a BFP on Mother's Day LOL but I know I'm probably grasping at straws. The other will be for Wednesday morning because that's when my doctor's appointment is and I'd like to be able to walk in with a "YES" I'm pregnant

Melissa, I don't blame you for not wanting to spend all that money to fly back home that's NUTS ... if I had wanted to see my parents or my sister it was only a 7 hour drive ... 2 provinces away LOL but With work thats hard. What was really hard is that my parents were away for both their Birthdays .. My mom turned 64 on April 24th and my Dad turned 70 on May 4th ... we will be celebrating their birthday's as well as my soon to be SIL's birthday (she will only be 29) on Sunday with our Mother's Day dinner.

I am glad to be busy really because it keeps me focused on other things and not over analyzing symptoms LOL

Manda I'm so sorry this cycle didn't work out for you. Please KUP and don't be a stranger. We are all here for you!

Aubrey you checked in with all us but didn't tell us how YOU were doing. How's it going?

Hi everyone!

We are back from the beach! I'll share some pics tomorrow. We had fun but it's good to be home.

I tried to temp at the beach but still missed a few days. Still no signs of O'ing either. This cycle is SUPER depressing me

Manda I'm sorry your IUI didn't work I totally understand needing to take a break. I feel like taking a break, actually, but I'm gonna try to press on...

I've been so tired and busy that I haven't popped over here in awhile. I'm having trouble catching up on everyone. I read thru all the posts but my brain is not fully absorbing it all. So just wanted to say FX and best of luck to everyone for whatever point in your cycle that your at.

I made it to 12 weeks today. One more week and I'll be in the 2nd trimester. I'm getting back to my more normal eating habits, but the fatigue is still here.

Sarah Anne did you test????

Jess so nice to see you back. Glad you had a good time! Can't wait to see some pictures!!!

Sarah also nice to see you back, hopefully you can pop in a little more here and there! I also hope the fatigue starts going away for you

My weekend has been going well. I've been really crazy lately, hormones during pregnancy are NUTS! (at least for me) I have so many overwhelming moments and random crying sessions! Yesterday DH took me to a 3/D 4/D ultra sound place and we got a Mother's Day package. I LOVE that I got to see little Summer again! She's so adorable already, I cannot wait to hold her! For those who are interested her is the link to her pictures

Hope you all have a wonderful Mother's Day... And for those still trying... Maybe the day will bring some Motherly luck!!! xoxo

LADIES!!

I'm soooooo sooooo sooooo sorry I haven't been around much this week!! I'm still dealing with occasional ickiness, extreme fatigue, and my work schedule. (Friday I worked almost 13 hours, I'm like tired/sleep hungover still!!

Another reason this week was especially busy is because Price and I ended up trading vehicles. I now will be driving an AWD car which will make DH feel better, especially in the winter. I'll post a pic and start a Sunday Snaps thread here in just a few minutes!

Good luck to everyone that is in the tww!!

Sarah Ann- Testing yet?

Sarah- Glad to see you checking in! Congrats to you and Brandy for making it to 12 weeks, that is super exciting!!!

Hope everyone has a great Mother's Day! I'll tray to check in later on!
Again, sorry for the slacking, I'll try my best to do better, I promise!!

I did test but it was a BFN .... probably a little too early but I'm not out yet ... I'll retest on Wed morning before my appointment ... or earlier if I'm too antsy. I have been really nauseous the last three days and crampy but I hate to put too much thought into the symptoms since I havent had many normal cycles to know what a normal lead up to AF feels like.

I hope you can get positive news Sarah Ann!
Those are AWESOME photos Aubrey!
Natasha- that is cool that DH wants you in the best car! so sweet!

As for me, I am giving up on testing and temping this cycle because my O time was supposed to be this weekend but we were so busy in Paris making the most of it that I didn't get anything done.. We did BD, though.. even exhausted. We want to get the most out of Clomid and this cycle.. and if we don't BD, it is like I had to deal with those side effects for nothing. So far so good this cycle, though.

Sarah Anne - FX for you!

Ladies, Sorry I have been hit and miss with this thread. I just wanted to check in and say that I am 90% sure that I'm about to O!! All the signs are there - EWCM, soft, open cervix... now I just need to get in some good BDing tonight and hope for a temp rise in the next couple days!

Could this finally be it?????

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't been around much. I got a BFN this cycle, and even though I ovulated, AF has decided not to show up. I'm waiting a little while to start prometrium again because we'd prefer not to have a January baby. (We live ~30 miles from our hospital of choice and Indiana weather is unpredictable.)

I've started to look into private adoption. Our insurance doesn't cover fertility treatment, but we do have an adoption reimbursement program through DH's work. I'm starting to feel like without medical treatment, there's not a great chance we'll conceive on our own, and I'm not willing to pay out of pocket for treatment because it's not guaranteed to work.

I actually looked on Craigslist and there was a woman, 35 with two kids already who found herself w/ an untimely pregnancy and is looking to place her baby for adoption when s/he is born. I emailed her. I know craigslist is like, super unorthodox, but hey- a baby is a baby, and they all need a good home, right?

Sarah Anne - Really hoping this is it for you! And if not, at least you can get going on your next cycle ASAP!

I'm still showing major O signs today - cervix is even HIGHER (like, can't even really reach it) and super soft, EWCM is very clear and slippery! I will probably O today or maybe tomorrow I'm guessing. Here's hoping!!! Finally it looks like things are happening!
