Love the siggy ... my DH hates smiling too ... I usually have to tickle him or something to get anything even remotely looking like a smile to come out of him LOL
GL at your appointment Melissa!!
Its CD10 for me today ... and I'm trying not to stress nearly as much this cycle because if I'm even remotely as "normal" as last cycle then I'll be happy. We will get enough BDing in for sure and then we will wait and see. Thank God O doesn't fall on a Tues or a Wed though cause there is just no way I'd ever be able to get any BD in with our schedules lol I was lucky I got home and into bed in enough time last night to get enough sleep for work today.

My hubby is the opposite. He smiles for photos, they're just never good smiles. lol.
my IC's should be here this afternoon and I'm probably going to start testing every day until I get a BFP or AF. Sounds like a good plan, eh? *obsession*

I love the new siggy also!
I think we can hit 300, we have the will power. My boyfriend never smiles, I think the last huge smile I got from him his when we went to the second home game of the Panthers and we won, that made his whole week.
Yesterday was my "Friday" and I am off the next three days so I always have a schedule planned out for me and the baby. Today I have an appt with my new school. I got accepted into the ultrasound program there and I am so excited to get started. I am also debating on whether I should order some ovulation tests on amazon. Do any of you ladies use a special brand or have a favorite?

Melissa, have you talked to your doctor or considered just doing a natural month? The only reason I ask is because it seems right after surgery they put you on Clomid to help O, maybe the surgery took care of the issues and you don't need the Clomid, hence why you are having so many problems while taking it? Just a thought?
Love the new siggy Tots!

I am now home for the night.. busy day here.. I went to the doc and he said that clomid is all he will give me because the other options are stronger and I might end up with twins or even triplets!! and while twins would be ok.. triplets.. no thanks.. so I took the clomid but might consider skipping it this month and trying to let it be a natural cycle... but it is so tempting while I have it. I don't want to face the side effects.. ahh, I am so lost..
but on a not PCOS related subject.. I finally booked our Paris trip on a weekend already confirmed. We are going the 12th and 13th. That left this weekend wide open, so I checked to see if the Edelweiss resort was open down in very southern Bavaria and they had a few rooms for Saturday so I booked one. On Saturday we are doing a tour to Hitler's Eagles Nest and then on Sunday a tour to Dachau Concentration camp. That leaves the 19th and 20th to find something to do before we leave for Barcelona the 24th! It is a busy busy month.. If I O on time (around the 13th) I could conceive in Paris!! but I think I am getting ahead of myself. I am excited.. but it is so much money we are shelling out and I cringe thinking of it. May 2012 costs us about $2300 before spending money or extras. ouch!

Hi ladies!
I've been reading, just not commenting much. I think because this cycle is depressing me, lol. I'm on CD 25, still no positive OPKs or EWCM or anything to suggest that O'ing is nearby. Last cycle I O'd on CD 24
DH and I are getting quite a bit of BDing in tho, so that's at least good practice
On Saturday we are going to Myrtle Beach! It will be Lily's first trip to the beach I thought for sure I would O before we left, but now I'm thinking I will probably O while we are there. I'm not bringing my OPKs with me tho, but I'll keep temping. Maybe Baby will be conceived at the beach..I can dream
Jess

Thanks ladies for the compliments on my new siggie!
And yes, DH is not a fan of "big smiles," I think part of it him just being a man and part of it is that he has a tooth that needs to be straightened (It's on the side) and he is paranoid it will show in a picture with a big smile.
Melissa- All your trips sound amazing, you have something scheduled for the next several weekends! You should have plenty of neat pics to share with us weekly!
Everyone else, I hope that your clomid cycles and dr's appointments go well! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of you to get a BFP very very SOON!!!
Oh yeah, Melissa, if you do decide to go with clomid this cycle, i'm praying you don't have the s/e this time and that it's successful so that you don't have to worry about it any longer!!
Everyone check in at the May Roll Call!!

Melissa you are so lucky to be seeing all those places!!! I'm jealous! I love to travel and have seen a handful of areas myself, but I know I will never get over there I guess I can live through your pictures! So take lots
Jess we were just in Myrtle Beach!!! I hope you get better weather then we did. Have a great time!
Jodi it's nice to see you on the chat thread! We sure can use some help reaching our goals!!! And shoot learning a little more about you too
As for me, tomorrow we have the men coming to re do our hardwood floors. I'm not very excited because it's our livingroom and hallway and I will be here alone with the dogs, "locked" in the kitchen! I'm not sure how long I will have to wait till I can walk on it, I know they won't finish tomorrow, but I guess it only takes about 2 hours to do what they have to the first day. Ugh I'm dreading it, what will I do for 2 hours with no TV and sitting in a kitchen?! I wish I didn't have to stay here, but I don't really trust leaving my house when there's random people in it. Hopefully it won't be as bad as it seems like it's going to be.
This month is going to be so busy for us! We have our floors being done, carpet going in all the bedrooms, finishing the baby's room and back guest room. We have my best friends wedding shower, my cousins wedding. We have my stupid dreadful glucose test and a "for fun" 3D/4D ultra sound. I know I'm forgetting stuff... looking at the calendar feels so overwhelming lol

Aubrey- I don't blame you. I wouldn't trust people alone in my house I don't know.. I won't even trust some people I do know in my house alone. I have too much to worry about in my house.
Jodi- Welcome to the chat thread.. I guess it is where "the party is" on this forum. lol.. I love it because I get to know everyone. I hope you stick around.
I will take tons of pics everywhere and post a few here... but I am sure I will post more on Facebook for all of you who have me as friends there... if not, you can add me.. just send me a message and I will send you a link to my page.
I did decide to use the clomid. I feel like I have to give each cycle it's full potential if I want to get pregnant. I start today and will go back to the doc so he can monitor it on the 10th. I really hope I get NO side effects this cycle! If it doesn't work, I really hope the doc will cave and give me something else.

I hope the s/e don't show at all for you this time Melissa ... I can say that this time I haven't had any of the hot flashes or night sweats I had the last two cycles. I don't know if its a good sign or a bad one or just a sign that my body is getting use to it.

I hope so. The emotions are getting to me again this cycle and I've only taken one pill so far!! What is up with that.. I would think with the toll it puts on emotions, it leads to increased stress.. and I definitely don't need that. Ughh.. I just want to curl up into a little ball and cry for dumb reasons. Sometimes being a girl really stinks.. and to add PCOS and clomid emotions.. forget about it.
Another thing adding to emotions.. Not a single piece of clothing I wore last summer fits me right now. I just went through all my summer clothes to be able to go to the beach at the end of this month.. but nope.. some barely got over my butt! And by last summer I was already up 20 pounds after getting off the pill. Its one of those days where I could just scream! I tried working out this morning but clomid hot flashes made me feel like I was going to get a heat stroke so didn't even make it through Jilian Michaels video.
I hope everyone else is having a good Thursday.. Tomorrow is Friday!

I'm so sorry you've had a rough day, Melissa!
I'm excited to hear that you decided to go with the clomid again, I PRAY you don't get ANY s/e this go round! I hope so much that you get your BFP this cycle and won't have to worry about it anymore!
I took today off and went with my Sister for a Dr appt about 2 hrs away from where we live (actually, it's the same office I'm seeing my OB in). We had a great day together! I always end up so tired by the end of the day though. But I had a better tummy day today. I actually ate some "wilted lettuce" (green leaf lettuce with hot oil over it) and a bowl of fresh strawberries and so far it hasn't killed me and I don't feel icky! (just a little gassy ) It felt so good to have something other than potatoes and saltines! I was *craving* some good lettuce, maybe a sign I needed it?
Hope you all have a good rest of the night and have a GREAT Friday!!

Morning ladies! I'm in a horrible terrible no good mood... The floors were started yesterday, basically I had to stay out of the house all day because the fumes. The man said they aren't harmful when pregnant, just overwhelming. Well last night the plan was to sleep at home... about 45 mins of laying down trying to sleep (after already sitting in bed watching Grey's) I just couldn't handle it. It was still SO strong smelling in the house, so I headed to my moms at 11:30pm. The man doing the floors was supposed to be here at 7:30am to do the last coat and he, of course called and is running a bit behind. I HATE being up if I don't have to. Especially after a terrible nights sleep. It was like 100 degree in my parents house! AND I found out that I won't be able to walk on the floor for 4-5 hours once he's done today... Ummmm I have to work at 11am and this man said it will only take about 20mins to do the final coat... So I'm stuck out of my house yet again. I guess I'll head to my moms after he's done, but I'm just so upset that my freaking DH has stuck me with all this. The fumes are still strong this morning and its rainy out, so I have no choice but to sit and bare it. I'm so upset. If I knew the man wasn't going to show any minute now I'd probably be bawling my eyes out right now.

Hey everyone ... Happy Friday
I'm happy to report I'm currently down 20lbs I'm finally on the right track with my weight it has taken a LONG time coming but I still technically have about 169lbs to lose to reach my goal weight. I don't know if I will ever get there but I will continue to try because I know it is much better for me to be a healthy weight than what I am now.
If my cycle stays like it was last month then I should O on Sunday ... which would be great ... but I'm not getting my hopes up too much until I see the temp rise
