I am a newbie here and I'd like to share my experiences about PCOS. I was dx with PCOS back in 2008. Since then my period would always be induced by pills or provera. Since getting married last year, we decided to have a baby and consulted an OB who after doing pap smear referred me to an RE.

We started with Clomid from the lowest dosage to up to the highest dosage but it didnt work for me. So we were scheduled to meet the RE again and check our options, we are on the verge of giving up and actually came to a decision to take a break and try again maybe late this year. But my RE gave us another option and this time our combination will be Provera + Follistim + Ovidrel + TI.

we started with 50 for Follistim then increasing it 100 then 150. after 4 cartridges of Follistim, they told me to use the Ovidrel and TI after 36hours. We did what we were told. Ovidrel is suppose to be out of the system after 10-12 days. on the 12th day, post-ovidrel I did HPT in the morning and there was a really faint line. In my head, I was telling myself "I guess it didnt work". We went to the clinic the same morning and had my bloodwork, later that afternoon I got a good news. HCG was 25 and Progesterone was 22.3!!!! I was so excited and wanted to tell everyone but I told my SO to wait until we reach 1500 level of HCG. In that way we will have an U/S. Today, my HCG is 559 and with the way it is increasing we might have an U/S by Monday next wk! I'll keep you posted!
