As long as AF doesnt show on a Friday I will be fine. I have to take the injections day 3-9 so I have to put in the prescription to be ordered on CD 2 so by CD 1 or 2 I need the script. It frustrating he wont just give it to me now.

Melissa I think it's silly as well that they can't just write it to you in advance... my moms DR does that a lot, she will write the script out but she can't fill it till a certain time... that probably wouldn't help you either tho

Tasha, I wouldn't say it's a bust... I wasn't on aids but don't forget I got my BFP on a really long cycle.... ya never know???

Yeah I know it's still technically possible, but I've never ovulated late so I don't think there's much chance I'll start now. So I feel like I'm wasting time waiting for this slim chance instead of moving forward to get to a much better chance.

Like say I applied for a job and I felt I had a pretty good chance of getting an interview. Well it's been a while, and I've since been told my chances of getting an interview are slim. I see another ad for a job that I have even a better chance of interviewing for than the first. I'm not gonna want to put off applying for that job just because I haven't heard back one way or the other from the first yet. This analogy isn't perfect since there's nothing stopping you from applying to multiple places at once but it's kinda how I feel.

Really no matter what it's going to be at least another two weeks before CD1 as that's how long the provera takes, and that's how long it would be if I O'd tomorrow. So I'm only "wasting" one week continuing to check for ovulation. I know logically that's not much time so I'm not going to take the provera early, but there's this illogical part of my brain that feels like time is moving in slow motion.

Well, Lily's surgery had to be rescheduled

She got sick over the weekend...we went to the pediatrician today, it's probably just a virus (nasal congestion, cough), but...with Lily it *often* progresses into something bacterial. So, she started antibiotics too.

They won't sedate/intubate her for surgery with any nasal congestion because of the risk of her aspirating the snot (breathing it) and then getting pneumonia...and the congestion might make it harder for her to come off the vent b/c it drops her oxygen sats (her highest sat today at the doc was 92%, which is good for Lily but bad for most ppl )

Hope that all made sense, lol! It's sooooo frustrating b/c Lily has such narrow nasal cavities, she gets congested super easily. So we rescheduled for Sept. 6 and are just going to hope & pray for the best :-/

On the plus side, now I'll get to be home to watch the olympics and check in here more often

Today I've had a migraine which sucks. The new migraine medication they gave me definitely doesn't work as well as my old stuff. I had to take some pain medication as well. I'm definitely going to ask for something else next time I talk to the nurse. But my DH has been wonderful. He got me a cranberry KIND bar on his way home since he knows they're my favorite, even if they are pretty expensive. We're also having pork lo mien for dinner.

frozenoj- sorry you get migraines. I don't know how that is but I could imagine how miserable it must get.

as for me- we sold the car and moved into the hotel today. AF showed up in the middle of the night and shocked me because usually comes soon after I wake up and I dont have to worry about it at night. I got my prescription for my next set of injections and I will get that ordered tomorrow and pickup and start on Friday. I also got the health certificate for the cat to fly with us and finally sitting down! I am trying to sell our cell phones and the last of the stuff we wont need here anymore. Its sooo much to do. I think Im going to shop for a car on craigslist for like $2500... just so we have something to drive when we get there.
