Hello all, im jen, I would really love to be apart of this group, but before I strt joining in conversations... I was with another site and because im on my mobile , I sometimes use short hand or txt grammer, for tht I was humiliated n was treated soooo sooo rudely. I honestly dont knw if the person was just having a bad day and I was just the 1, or wht, I knw it was uncalled for and im not a child I do deserve to be talked to like an adult. I would like very much to make new friends tht understand the troubles of pcos. But plz ladies if it is in the rules here tht short hand or txt grammer are not allowed, plz point me in the right direction so I can read n abide by all ur rules, so I dont offend someone with my sometimes not proper grammer.. Thank u ladies for reading I do really hope to continue my journey here, and have good people help me not judge me n be mean,

I dont think there are any rules like that. Ive not once seen any drama or rudeness in here and Ive been here since December. Welcome here and I hope you stick around. It is always nice to have a support channel. While Ive been here quite a few women have gotten pregnant so it is starting to slow down so you will fit perfectly in here.. There are only a handful of regulars here but we are always here for support.. Some of us even communicate through facebook.

I am sure as soon as everyone else shows up, you will be welcomed in more. We even talk about non PCOS things in our chat thread every month since we dont want to dwell on infertility all the time. I love the size of this group because we get to know each other pretty well. Also, there is a journal thread if you ever wanted to create your own and vent or document what is going on in your life.. I treat mine as a diary almost.. so I know where I am in my journey and I will re-read it all once I finally get pregnant..

as for the typing.. you cannot beat how bad my husbands is if he tries to write in English, so I will be able to understand. lol.

Welcome Jen!!! I cannot believe how poorly some women are on other boards. I can assure you that the women here on our PCOS forum will not mind if you short hand your words! I hope that you do decide to stick around and get to know everyone. The board has been a bit slow as Melissa has mentioned, but with the help of the few newbies, along with yourself, we should have this board hopping in no time!!! Feel free to jump right in and get to know everyone. The information here is amazing and all the women are very knowledgeable and enjoy sharing what we know to help others

Thank u so much, this is already more welcoming than wht I experienced on the other site.. I hve been kinda playin around with diffrent things tryin to get the hang of how this wrks, and I am soo glad tht u all talk about other things rather thn dewling on the infert. I do have 1 dghtr shes 19mo and she is my accident miracle..lol.. Hubby n I had been trying for 9 yrs n I had an hsg done, the results said my tubes were blocked n scarred n I wld nd to see a specialist, so we gave up. N I guess the dye cleared my tubes n I got pg.. I did go to my dr n tell her I was hvn lots of sympt but she said it was just pcos related.. N I went 20wks b4 I found out.. Thank goodness she is happy n healthy.. does anyone else hve children n r trying to wrk.on #2?

Well, an accident miracle is something I bet you are very happy about! Im glad shes happy and healthy! That is all a parent can ask for. I wish I was working on #2 as my husband and I have been trying for a while now for #1.. still no luck. DH (we abbreviate here, too.. Dear Husband) and I have been with a specialist since December and now are moving back stateside after 11 months in Europe. I am already up to injections! Which I hope stick this next cycle since I am at the furthest point my insurance will cover. As soon as I get back to New York I will be trying to find a new specialist. I would say, that a specialist was the best thing I ever chose to pursue. I feel like my chances of getting pregnant is much better now.

I was on a different forum as well before I came here but had to leave because of the negativity. I haven't had any problems like that here! Everyone seems really supportive. For me the text speak is a little harder to read, but I won't yell at you or anything it'll just take me an extra second to read it lol.

Hey I've heard that some women have better luck getting preggers as we age with PCOS!!! Then again I have read the complete opposite as well Hopefully for you it will be easier this time around. That is something else I have read... that typically it is "easier" for women with PCOS to get pregnant the second time around. I don't know how accurate it is. And I don't know, that could mean if it took you 10 months before that this time it would maybe take 5? Who knows what they mean when they say easier/quicker the 2nd time. But it's something to keep in mind

I completely agree the others!
I think you will find everyone welcoming here!
I'm glad you explained to us your reasoning behind wanting to use shorthand or "text speak" in your comments, may help everyone be more understanding so you won't have to worry about silly questions!

We look forward to getting to know you better!
