Swagbucks is a site where you can earn points to do things such as surveys, watch videos, search the web and etc. You can turn the points into gift cards and the best deal is by far the amazon ones.
I can't believe they just banned your account! That's absolutely ridiculous! Playing the video's all day is a good idea though. I could do that with my computer on mute LOL

Amanda I actually signed up a while back because on FreebieShark.com they were advertising free points and my friend had told me to sign up.... so I signed up and then never even learned what it was. I kinda just blew it off lol. It seemed complicated at the time, but probably just because I didn't take the time to really read anything.
It takes time to make it worth anything but it's possible. I have a hard time staying committed to it. I'm in a "private" group on FB that finds all the codes and shares them so that's how I usually use points instead of bothering with the rest that much.
so much going on!! I am so happy this group picked up.. and happy to see you back here, Manda!! I dont think I can respond to everyone from what I missed but seems like most of you are doing great.
As for me, I am jet lagged but this direction of jet lag is much more manageable than the other way. This way I just go to bed and wake up early. I went to bed around 9:30 at night last night because my body thought it was 3:30am... the other way around is much more annoying because then I want to sleep during the day. Today is my last day of the injections. They all made it through many customs and USDA checks and scans, and rough handling in my luggage alright. I wasn't going to let anything break them this cycle. lol. I am going to continue taking the estrogen pills until the end of this cycle and on Tuesday I start taking progesterone pills at night until end of cycle or BFP continuing it. It is sooo complicated.
If this cycle is not successful for me, I think I am just going to stop taking meds all together except prenatal vitamins, try to eat better (which is hard now with no kitchen and living in a hotel), and I might sign up for a personal trainer.
Also, I bought a car on Monday.. well, more like a monster SUV! Its feels so big compared to the little sports car I was used to.. but it is a Toyota 4Runner.. and I had to shell out like $600 for taxes, plates, oil change, and registration this week. I feel sooo beyond broke right now that I know if I need food or anything I need to head to walmart to put it on my walmart card. I cannot wait for payday.. I also need to shell out $700 today for the first week of hotel costs.. but the Army will repay us like $600 of it as they will not pay for the pet fees. The cat is doing pretty well, though. She is sleeping right beside me. I expected her to be so skiddish after being cooped up in her kennel for 14 hours straight and enduring one 8 hour flight on an international trip and then she was under the plane in one of those small propeller planes that fit like 16 people.. but shes doing better than expected.
Sorry for the long book of a post but I will try to be on here more often now that I am settling in.
Melissa glad you're back state side and things went well. I've never had jet lag but I'm sure it DOES suck! Hopefully your body gets used to the time difference quickly.
I'm glad all your meds made it safely and that you are able to stay on track with them. I wish you much luck and hope and pray you get that BFP!
I can't imagine having to live in a hotel. I LOVE going on vacation and staying at hotels but living there but be a bit tedious. How long do you think you will be living there? I'm sorry if you mentioned before, but I don't remember.
Glad your injections made it through all right! Are you going to be using OPKs to see if they work since you aren't being monitored?
We took Scotty to the groomer yesterday for the first time (well first for us, he's been before we got him). I've never had an animal that had to be groomed before. I think they did a wonderful job. He is soooo soft I just want to rub my face all over him. He also smells amazing which could be contributing to that.
This weekend we took Lily to a "farm day" and she got to pet the animals. Her favorite animal was the big horse...she climbed onto his back! (With DH holding onto her of course). It was cute
I finally went grocery shopping and I'm so happy I did. Practically everything I wanted/needed was on sale! Spent like $130 but saved $75 and we have 50 cents/gallon off gas. Finally you don't hear an echo when you open the freezer.

I'm on CD12 and AF is not gone yet. It's times like these when I ALMOST wish I had a doctor to call. I feel like this whole cycle is a waste now because w/ soy I usually O around CD14, and of course hubby and I haven't been able to BD. (I'm not one of those ladies who is comfortable doin' the dirty with AF still around. lol)
Plus I have no idea what's even going on with me because I was taking the relaxed approach and haven't been using ovacue. I kind of want to bang my head against the wall. >.<
Hey everyone!
I've been trying to catch up on everything going on here!
My week last week was horrid, and I had no time to get online except for getting on fb on my phone.
Let me explain (especially for those who are newer and don't know that much about me): I'm an Occupational Therapist, I am the primary OT for 3 long term care/skilled nursing facilities (better known as nursing homes). I split my days throughout the week to try to ensure that I am in each facility at least once, but for two of the 3 I am in there at least twice, one of the buildings I'm in almost every day (much busier, bigger building). I told them when I first found out I was pg (at like 4 weeks!!) that I wanted to cut my workload and my stress level and that once I come back from Mat leave, I would only be able to cover 2/3 buildings because of my babysitting situation and DH's work schedule. Well, fast forward to last weekend... my first cousin, who is also an OT who covers another facility that I have "filled in for" in the past, was in a motorcycle accident (broken collarbone, major roadrash, but ALIVE thank the Good Lord!). BUT that left one other facility without OT coverage for evaluations, supervision, etc. Well, to make a long story short, I've now got that building to cover as well, so that makes 4. And it's only been one week, but I'm worn out! This preggo just can't do this very long! So that's my story about the no show for this last week...
Bare with me girls, I promise I will check in at least on the weekends when I can!
I'm hoping he will be abe to come back to work within 2-3 weeks, at least light duty, which will make a big difference for me. To get from my "home" facility to his, it takes 2 hours, then from there to my house is about 1.25 hours.
I am thinking about all of you, but I'm sorry if I can't address each of you individually.
Melissa- glad to see you are in the States! Hope you get appropriate housing soon!
Jess- Yay for Lilly's preschool starting soon and that you are able to fix and eat more foods!
Manda- Good luck with everything and hope you get DH's supplements and get his "boys" going! BTW, I did tell you that I bought DH a pill box and filled it weekly, right? It only took him a little while to get used to it, now he reminds me if it needs to be refilled!
This Wednesday, I go for another U/S with the HR Dr! I hope and pray we see a healthy baby and knowing gender would be an awesome plus!! I'll let you all know!
Love you girls, I will check in as much as possible this week!
Man this is about to turn into such a crazy week. We're having a yard sale saturday and I'm working 43 hours this week so it's going to be exhausting. Also I have to pack for a trip to Chicago next week. Oyyyyyyyy
Oh wow.. Crazy week. I can't really respond everywhere again.. I'm on the iPad so it takes longer to type things out. I'm looking at a very hard situation.. We can't afford to stay in this hotel much longer, and the housing list keeps pushing us down so we are looking at separating for 10-14 months until dh is out of the army so we can save some money. I'll go stay with my parents out in WA. I'm thinking we can visit each other at least once a month.. And hopefully get into the IVF program in WA that costs us only 5k.. But best case scenario, I can get pregnant here on these mess before I leave.. I'm thinking of trying to fly out next Friday.. Cd24... So, if this cycle is it it will happen before then. Wish me luck ladies. I will update when I know more.. But won't be so much actively trying if I go.. I'll work on hitting the gym more and working.

We do have a housing allowance here.. but to get into a place we need to have a down payment of first month, last month, a month deposit, and then a pet fee.. so we are looking at like $4500 for the places around here that are all old and run down.. sooo, we have to do this. I already booked the pet health certificate again and then as soon as we get advance pay I will book the flight for next week sometime.. But I will plan on seeing him one long weekend per month and holidays... Im hoping this process goes faster.. like 6 months. I also hope I get pregnant this cycle so I dont have to worry about saving for IVF and I can put it to a new second car.
