I was a member of this board around a year ago and have been in major lurk mode for the last year...

I dont really know where to ask this but does anybody suffer from fibroids? I went off the pill in Sept of 2011 but the my dad was dx with cancer and died just over six months later so TTC was on the back burner (if it happened, it happened, but we weren't trying)...

I've been gaining weight, like 30lbs in 3 months. Thought at first it was the Prozac but went off that and just keep gaining so started to research fibroids and now I'm thinking it could be a possibility and well, I guess just add it to the list I have PCOS and Endo also. I have my yearly exam on Wednesday and am scared sh*tless on what he will find

I don't have fibroids but I know I gain weight like crazy anytime I'm not on the pill unless I'm really careful. I think it's due to my insulin resistance. Do you know if you have that? I have to take medication for it and watch my carb intake just to maintain my weight.

I'm sorry I know nothing about fibroids. But I can second what Tasha said. If I'm not careful pcos aids in my weight gain big time. Please keep us updated! Hopefully it's nothing serious

I honestly don't know much at all about fibroids, so I don't have any good advice to give there...

Ditto to what the other girls stated about weight gain and PCOS....I can lose it fast but gain it even faster...
