It's been a good long while since I visited this forum... I really needed a break from TTC, and then last cycle with my chemical I just wasn't up for coming back full force into the chats. I did still pop by once in a while to read the threads, but didn't post. Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that after a long, long journey of dealing with pelvic pain and PCOS, we finally got a good strong BFP yesterday! I know it can be hard to read stories like this when you are in the throes of dealing with PCOS issues... I hope that this will be an encouragement though. It can happen!!!
For those who might be interested, what worked for us this cycle:
- I actually stopped taking Metformin just before I Oed, because I felt like it was somehow making my temps low (they were REALLY low all cycle... like, consistently below where the TCOYF charts start)
- BD 3 days pre-O, O day, and day after O
- used Pre-seed for BD on fertile days
- stayed horizontal for 15-20 min after each BD during fertile days
Anyway, it is super-super early still, but we are hopeful that this PG will stick. I have my first visit to the nurse this Thursday to confirm everything! I just wanted to say thanks to all the ladies who offered their support on this forum! You guys are the best.
