AF arrived this morning, which I am relieved to definitely get an answer to those evaps I had during this cycle...

But while I have AF trapped over here...I expect her to leave the rest of you alone and see lots of BFPs!!!

Yeah, we are trying this last cycle. DH and I had a long talk about this and we will give it one more shot before we try again next fall if we're not successful.

I also have an appointment with my OB/GYN to discuss Clomid later this week, so we'll see how that goes. Last time we only used metformin, but my cycles have been really wonky (with and without BC) ranging from 15 days to 40+, so maybe some clomid this cycle might help? Especially since I've been on metformin for quite awhile now and it obviously hasn't straightened out anything...

I know that my first OB/GYN (who originally diagnosed me with PCOS, but I didn't end up staying with after I got pregnant) wanted to start me on clomid immediately after I was diagnosed, but I insisted on the met first.

So who really knows what routine protocol for PCOS is? Maybe my current OB will just tell me to try without clomid for this cycle?

Keep in mind that Clomid needs to be started by CD5 so if your appointment is after that you may not be able to use it this cycle. It does sound like it would be helpful for you, though!

Yeah, I figured as much, but Friday was the only day I could get an appointment. So I was still hoping that Day 6 to 10 would still be okay since I already ovulate later in the cycle anyways. I googled it and saw quite a few ladies whose docs had prescribed it 6 to 10 or even 7 to 11, so it just depends on what she thinks.
