Gosh, I'm so sorry I dropped off the face of the earth. Lily dropped her nap about a month ago, so I've had a lot less time to get on the computer, much less JM
Anyway, I did want to check in here and let ya'll know that things are going GREAT with my pregnancy! I've had some weird symptoms (most recently--numb fingers on my right hand...WTH?!), but overall things are great. I'm 21 weeks and still haven't felt any movement, though Oh yeah, and it's a GIRL!!!!!!!
The numbness depends on the position of my arm, so would that still be carpal tunnel? Sometimes it's just my middle and ring finger together that are numb, sometimes my whole hand/arm. It's the worst when I'm laying down on my back or my side (either side, though right side is worse). So I've been sleeping a lot on my stomach but I can't do that forever!!
Hey!! I have been MIA as well- congrats on the girl. My little PCOS miracle girl is due in a week, should be here within about 2 weeks!!
FYI on the carpal tunnel- try wearing wrist splints to sleep at night. Not the most comfortable thing but makes such a big difference for me. Apparently it is pretty common when sleeping to bend your wrist- which further constricts flow into/out of your hand. Wearing the splints, even if you take them off part way through the night will help!
A BIG thank you to Jaidynsmum for my awesome siggy!
Thanks, ladies!! I have started wearing a brace at night, just in the last few days. I think it's helping but it's taken some time to get used to having it on. The first few nights wearing it I didn't sleep well, couldn't get comfortable with it...but then the next night I left it off and kept waking up b/c my hand was numb...so then last night I put the brace on and it went better, lol. With pregnancy it is ALWAYS something at night...
I did start feeling Baby Girl move at about 22 weeks...now I feel her daily. She also likes to kick me in the bladder, lol. I do have an anterior placenta, so that's probably part of the reason why it took so long to feel her, plus it's my first pregnancy.
No name yet...sigh. We are having a HARD TIME with names. Like, we don't even have a short list, we have basically nothing. Oh well, at least we've still got plenty of time
