Hello,

This is my second cycle of clomid cd3-7. I started my opks on cd 10 (i am not temping this cycle to be a little more relaxed and with work i can not do it consistently). I forgot to tak the test first thing in the morning (clearblue didigital) so i waited until after work and it was negative. Today cd 11 i got a positive ( ) using second morning urine. Anyone else have this happen?

My first cycle i got a false pos cd 12 (clomid 5-9) and another pos cd 16. I temped but no af at the end and was not consistent then either.

Thanks!

Clomid can make your OPKs darker than they should be, especially while you are taking it and a few days after. So it could be a false positive, or you could be having a true surge but still not ovulating. It is possible for your LH to surge (thus a +OPK) but for your body to fail ovulating. In this case your body will likely try again a bit later which is why you would have gotten one again on CD16. If you never got AF after that, it might have failed again. Is it possible for you to get ultrasound monitoring? I know only some insurance plans cover that and if not it's a pretty big out of pocket expense , but if you are surging but failing to O and you can't temp I'm not sure how else to make sure you are ovulating.

Hello and thanks! I am just seeing my ob currently and using the cb digital opk. I think the first moth cd 12 pos was a false and then a true surge but no O. I was a bit surprise to get a pos on cd 11, on cd 13 had some cramping, spotting and ewcm so here is hoping something happens at the end of this cycle!!

If nothing again, i am going to get my tubes checked and then on to the re. No sense in not knowing if i just need an additional drug or am just not responding.

thanks. I have seen posts about the dyes on the cb digital running but i havent had that issue yet. I did have a neg test before a positive but am still concerned if it could be clomid interference. : )
