I am just wondering if having pcos can give you a false - even though you really are pregnant? I am just curious if this has happened to any of you who suffer with pcos. I am looking forward to hearing your stories regarding ttc with pcos.

I have no idea. I don't really see why PCOS would stop your HCG from being detected, but I guess it's not impossible. When I was pregnant in October I started getting faint positives at 10dpo so that wasn't true for me, but I can't say for anyone else.

I dont think so. I took a test and it was negative, then 1 week later it was positive. When i got my positive i should have been 6 weeks pregnant. But because my period was not consistant and always late, i was actually only 4 weeks pregnant.

If you really think u are pregnant, then wait a week and test again. U might have ovulated later. But if you are pregnant, it will show a positive.

Lurking... I tried for a year and a half straight and had no luck at all.. I thought the test was just wrong a few times but it wasn't.. I never got a false negative... Then it didnt work out with ex-dh.. I had a one time oops afterwards and I definitely got a positive when it was positive.. However, that was only the one time in my life Ive gotten a bfp.. I think the tests are pretty accurate.. even those ones on amazon for like $15 for 100 or something like that.. if you are pregnant, the HCG will be recognized by the test.. If you are pregnant but not producing enough HCG yet, its worth testing in a few days.. Even each day HCG increases as I was in shock and couldnt believe it so tested every day and it just got darker and darker. Good Luck..
