Went to the doctor yesterday (CD14) to get a sonogram to see if and follicles have matured on my second round of clomid. Not one dominant follicle. They were are too small to release an egg. The first round I had one dominant follicle at this point, but it never grew any further and therefore no ovulation.

My doctor said that maybe the clomid may be pushing back ovulation and to continue doing what we are doing and wait to see what happens this cycle. I am hoping he is right. He also said that he would only do one more cycle on clomid and then said teh next step would be to see a fertility doctor to start with shots. He said my body is being very resistant.

I am trying to stay positive and hope that the clomid works bc I don't know if I am ready for the shots. My cousin went through that and it becomes your life. Emotionally this process is beginning to take a toll on me.

So my plan is to continue to see if I ovulate this cycle and hope for the best.

Sorry you aren't responding well. Is your doctor not willing to try femara? A lot of women who don't respond well to clomid see results on femara.
