i went through HSSG, i have diagnosed with PCOS last Feb. 1, my ultrasound report says "normal sized anteverted uterus with proliferative endometrium Polycyctics ovaries, bilateral, within both ovaries are >12follicles measuring 2-9mm, right ovarian volume >10ml probably suggestive of polycystic ovaries and my HSSG report says "Patent both fallopian tubes". my ob put me on 12days dyrogesterone, vit E and follic acid as pre-natal vitamins and ofcourse metformin 500mg x3/day. and she also put me on clomid 50mg. i used to have 35days cycle and i rarely missed a period, before the HSSG i used to have regular monthly period for the past two years and i expected my period for this month in 22nd to 26th, today is 24th but still no signs of menstrations which usually used to have before my period. my husband is coming home next month and he only stay for 2 months, i am getting frustated because we have limited time to try. is it possible to ovulate w/o my period? mommies and moms-to be, please give me a piece of advise, we are TTC for almost 5 years, and it really hurts to have a NEGATIVE hpt hope to hear an advise from u. thank you and baby dust to all of us who are TTC.

It's possible to ovulate at any point in your cycle. So even if you were on cycle day 100 you could still potentially ovulate at that time.

What was the dydrogesterone for? Are you still on that? I'm not really familiar with that, but if it's like progesterone and you are still on it that could keep your period from coming.
