Hey everyone! I have been on Metformin for 3 1/2 years. In October 2011, I decided to get serious about my weight issue. Since then, I've lost 100 pounds and my cycles have become regular on a 30 day cycle. I take 1500mg of metformin/day. We are TTC, but i'm beginning to get very frustrated. I'm thinking about purchasing Vitex to see if that will help. But, I've read some places not to take it if your cycle is regular. I'm confused, and not sure what to do next!! Any suggestions, experiences, etc. would be very helpful!!
If your cycles are regular then I would recommend bbt charting, it will help you to pinpoint your ovulation day and thus plan your bd'ing correctly there is a Fertility Charting board where you can check out to familiarize yourself with the ins and outs but its pretty easy really. Basically, you take your temperature every morning with a bbt thermometer and once your have ovulated your temperature will be higher than before ovulation (check out the board for the specifics though )
