Saying I couldn't run was a LIE, I joined a group of runners at my church last night for the first time ever and I thought for SURE I was going to either end up walking while they all ran off without me OR going back to my car to ponder my out-of-shapity, but to my SURPRISE, I actually did it! We ran on time (15 min) instead of distance, we are working up to 45 min of running in the next couple of months. My "homework" is to run 15 min every night until I go back next Weds which I am going to do on all the days I don't Zumba. So I ran tonight for the second time and I am just so proud of myself, although I have to give God the glory because I have tried and failed to run MANY times before and then I pray for God to help me and BAM suddenly I am a runner???! Just amazing to me, I am so curious now to see how much I CAN run.
