and Im so happy I did. My husband and I have cut back on all our eating.
We've pretty much did away with any thing carbonated. I've still slipped in a few cokes here and there.
But for the most part its all out. No caffeine hardly either at all.
We've cut out all regular pastas and breads and have gone to 100% wheat or whole grains. We've cut back our portions (it was hard, but we did it)
Bought healthy things to snack on (Almonds, granola bars, etc)
and in a month, I've lost 10 lbs.
i stepped on the scale this morning and saw a number that I havent seen in years!
How is everyone else doing? I still hope to loose about 10 more lbs....but im pacing myself. I've always heard the faster you loose it, the easier it is to gain it back. BUt I can say that I am enjoying eating the new healthier foods now.
The kids are doing it too.. I have only had french fries ONCE in a month. I've eaten at a fast food restaraunt ONLY ONCE as well.
(We still eat pizza once a week though, we just make sure its thin crust).
Instead of doing taco's with hamburgert meat, I make the tacos the same way as always, but Im using whole wheat shells and tortillas's and CHICKEN instead of hamburger meat.
Tyson has all natural chicken out now too, without all the added horomones and stuff!
Just wanted to update, Im so sorry I havent been on much (What kind of cohost am I?) We've been so busy with my older two starting soccer, and both are in school, and then Alba only slept thru the night 6 times since birth and We've been in and out of the house running errands. I feel like IM hardly ever home anymore..........
