First off, congrats to you for losing all that weight, that is amazing!
It must be really frustrating to feel like all you can do is stand by and see what happens at this point. I wish I had some awesome advice, all I can think of is to be sure to keep your house stocked with only healthy food during your recovery and maybe do some make ahead healthy meals so that you won't be tempted with junky convenience food.
Also, if you do gain a couple of pounds, don't sweat it and let it make you think all is lost. You've lost 41 pounds, you can totally get rid of a couple of pounds that you may (or may not!) gain while you get better. Before you know you'll be back at the gym and feeling great!
