Hi everyone,

My husband and I are TTC our first. I have Crohns, it's controlled as I take Remicade. I've been on it for over 3 years now and has helped me so much. I know it's safe to be pregnant and to breastfeed while taking Remicade but I wanted to know if anyone here has been pregnant/nursing while on Remicade? What do your doctors say about it? How did you pregnancy go? The only concern I have heard so far is that I will be a high risk patient and that the doctors want to (as best as they can) time my Remicade infusion to be as far away from delivering as possible.

Any advice about this topic would be helpful!!

I have not taken Remicade, but I was high risk because of medications. I recommend seeing a high risk doctor, you really want someone who is an expert in many different possible scenarios. There's a hidden bonus too - extra ultrasounds!
