I had originally posted this on another board before I saw there was one for high risk. I have a history of recurrent miscarriage due to a blood clotting disorder.

I just had my Mirena removed on the 28th of last month. The doctor told me waiting one cycle should be just fine to go ahead and start trying, but my "cycle" started almost exactly 3 weeks after getting it removed, and only lasted about 2-3 days. Even though it came on just like a real cycle, I'm not sure that it was one.

I am worried that things aren't back to normal like they should be. Has anyone had any experience in this? Should I maybe wait a whole month longer?

I would call your doctor. Everyone seems to react differently to Mirena because of the hormone content, so I think your doctor will really know best.
