Hey ladies, I have a charting question and I'm sure I know the answer but I just wanted some advice. My normal wake up time 3 days a week (when I work) is 5am. On my days off I wake up at 7am. I was off yesterday and woke up at 7 and today I woke up at 6am when I heard Marina whine on the monitor so I took my temp and it was 97.18. She stopped and I went back to sleep until 7 and my temp was 97.51. Which temp do you think I should use?

I would use the first one. You have more sleep before taking that one. The later you take it, and the closer to regular waking, the higher it will be. Mine can be .5 to 1 degree higher if I take it at 6:00. I set and alarm to take it at 5:00 every day, but some days I wake at 4:00 and take it then. The 4:00 vs. 5:00 doesn't seem to make as big of a difference as the 5:00 to 6:00 hour. I think because I'm not in as deep of a sleep by 6;00.

yes definitely the first one (6am). One, your sleep was interrupted and two, 6 am is closer to your usual wake up time of 5, which would cause it to be off. They say 2 hours is about the latest you can take it before/after your usual wake up time and have it be close to accurate.

Agreed! Having interrupted sleep always made mine higher if I didnt get at least 3-4 straight hours of sleep after I woke.
Goodluck!

Thanks ladies I changed my temp to the first one. I liked the second temp so much better though, lol! I'm already wanting this cycle to just be done with...
