I imagine they're still going to be erratic, and I know a lot of you didn't even GET a cycle until you weaned but any advice would be appreciated. I have kinda looked at this on the BFing board and didn't see much, and i've looked some online as well, which pretty much just says don't expect them to be regular (but they can be)...what has your experience been, if any. Just curious! My cycles have always been so regular, this is gonna be odd for me

mine returned at 5 months PP while still EBF, I think then the next one didnt come for 6 weeks, then theyve been pretty regular ever since, every month. we are still BF and Bella is nearly 20 months. Hope that helps.

I didn't get mine until almost exactly 2 weeks after A&E stopped nursing during the night. They were 16 months old. My second one came about 6 weeks later. I'm only on my third and I took soy for 2 cycles, so I don't know for sure what I would have been like without, but I think it would have continued to be long cycles for a while.

I didn't get my first PPAF until two weeks before Marina's first bday. Before Marina I had super long, anovulatory cycles and I think that's what I'm going back to This is my first real cycle since having Marina and I'm on CD 30+ and had two positive OPKs. Finally today is negative but I haven't had a temp spike at all. Sorry I'm not much help.

I got PP AF at 7 weeks PP while still EBFing throughout the day and night! Connor was BFing every 3 hours around the clock until almost 8 months but after that 1st cycle they were like clockwork every 4 weeks. They were lighter than my pre baby AFs though.

I'm very envious of those that made it to 6 months without AF

With Summer I didn't get AF until about 6ish weeks after I quit pumping.. I got AF exactly a week before her 1st birthday! (and then got pregnant with #2)

I am still BFing Ashton and nothing yet.

Billy stopped BF a week after his 1st bday (Dec 5th) and my 1st PP AF wasn't until the end of Feb/beginning of March. So it was almost 15 months. I haven't had another one since.
