Hi ladies! I know some of you have talked about the Vitanica vitex and I just wanted to give you all of the info that I've gotten about it. I know there is a lot of controversy about taking it while you are pg, so I'm just going based on what my ND is telling me and I am still taking it right now. She has told me that especially for people who have had a loss/losses, she recommends taking it until about 10 weeks, but starting to wean off it before then. So I'll be 8 weeks this Saturday and I started to wean off last week. I'm actually cutting the capsules. I'm cutting off about a quarter every week so by 10 weeks I should be done.
I don't know what is the right thing for every individual so I would talk with your ND or Dr about it (although a traditional Dr probably would advise you to stop taking it once you found out you were pg or even before that). But I just wanted to let you all know all of the info I've been given incase anyone had started taking it based on anything I said.
That's interesting. I stopped taking it right away last cycle when I got a BFP. Of course I started it again when I finally stopped bleeding. I'll definitely be talking to my acupuncturist about this. Thanks for the info.
Thank you peimum for my siggie
