Well we are having an interesting year. Right now we are "attempting to TTC when possible".
We know Mason has to have surgery at the end of the month and we find out today what type exactly. His kidneys have been dilated since he was born and its looking like a condition called UPJO. Basically the tube leaving his kidneys is narrow and so we have to have surgery to correct that or his kidneys will be damaged. I am hoping it is the other condition and it will just be a laser surgery, but its not looking likely.
I also just started a brand new job last week (which is where I am now. hehe) so that has kept me busy also.
So between everything we havent really been able to focus on TTC much. Hopefully after this fall we will be able to refocus and start really trying hard again. Its looking like IVF will be next Spring/Summer for us if we havent had success TTC naturally by then. So that is my update! Overall we will all be fine, but its still hard to wrap my head around right now. Especially after the flood this summer. lol
Anyways...cant wait to catch up! Update me on whats new with you all!
Hope everything is ok with Mason!! I think one of the little boys in my playgroup IRL had that same thing happen...he had surgery in July and then last month they removed his stitches, from talking to his mom, she said that it wasnt as bad as she thought recovery wise and it worked...hope it goes well, you guys definitely need a break!
I hope Mason's surgery goes really well. I also hope you don't need IVF again and get a nice surprise this fall.
I'm on CD14 today with no sign of O. Ugh! I didn't expect it though. I'd be happy if I Od sometime between CD21 and 25 this month. I'm upping my post O herb to see if that helps my LP. My acupuncturist is just as frustrated as I am that my last cycle was so long and my LP was still too short. That's about all that's up with me right now.
Thank you peimum for my siggie

Aug 13, '09 Arya and Eiley are born on what would have been their great grandmother's 105th birthday 365 Days in a Roe
Hope is surgery goes well! Is that similar to hydronephrosis at all? Michael had that when he was born but its cleared up now. Surgery would have been in his future if it hadnt. I'm sure he'll do great though, these little guys (and gals) are tougher then adults!
Val, I am right there with you on the frustration. My cycles have gone back to being 40+ days again!
And Sam it is very similar. The condition Mason has causes that.
Right now we dont really have any answers. Our doctor here isnt confident in his diagnosis so he is bringing a specialist. We have a consult for a second opinion the 28th and surgery is scheduled for the 29th if needed. I will keep you all updated!
