It's been a week since I last pumped and thankfully hasn't been painful. However, as soon as I take off my bra, drops of milk come to the surface. It's enough to drench my shirt in a matter of moments. I don't feel my letdown reflex, but it seems to happen. How can I make this stop? Is there anything I can do or is it just the waiting game? I hate wearing a bra to bed, but need the pads.

you could try taking cold tablets ... basically anything that is supposed to dry up a runny nose. That's one of the reasons that breastfeeding women are told not to take cold medicine.

My lactation consultant also told me to try drinking sage tea.

There are some more resources on kellymom.com :: Too much milk: Sage and other herbs for decreasing milk supply

Ok I've done the cold medicine. How long should I keep taking it? Until it stops?

I didn't leak yesterday, at least I don't think so (I was wearing a padded bra) And I no longer have issues when I'm topless. So it looks like things are dwindling down.
