What kind of rosary do you use? What kind of beads, color, etc does it have? Was it a gift?

We have a candy dish full of Rosaries, so I use whichever one I grab first! I do have a few special ones though.

One with purple beads, I got from my Grandma. My Grandma took it to Medjugorje with her to get it blessed when I was a kid. Then I took it with me to Africa, to Rome for World Youth Day, and back to Medjugorje when I went myself.

I also have one my Great Grandma gave me. The nuns who taught school were too poor to buy real Rosaries for the students, so they would make them out of these seeds that grew on the prairie. I have her seed Rosary. I'm afraid to break it, so I don't actually use that one.

And a big bag of broken Rosaries I can't decide what to do with.

I think I only have one. It's light blue, see-through. Very pretty. I think we bought it in a Catholic store. DH, on the other hand, has at least 5 different ones.

My favorite is the one I had made from the roses at Gracie's funeral. But I generally use a wooden one that a friend brought back from Medjugorie.
