OK, so I was reading, on a different message board some stuff that lead me to say "How do you explain to somebody who isn't Catholic why we don't believe in birth control without loosing them completely on line one?" So I decided I'd google and see if there was anything out there that explained it well...the first thing I clicked was on the topic that made this come up on the other message board...and I think the people explaining it get it WRONG, so wrong that this is why I can't explain it to people. I mean among other things, they only say "rhythm method" in writing even though the actual spoken words are "natural family planning" in the video...
I know we discussed that it probably wasn't church going Catholics, but rather people who are only Catholic in name, but I think there is even more to it than that. I mean how many women on this board who do practice NFP have used a BCP at sometime in their life cuz they for instance were not Catholic then...their study is dumb, the people making the video may be equally dumb...
Ugh, that is obnoxious! I thought the men explaining the stance of the church did a fine job with what little input they were given air time for, but you're right, everything else about it was so slanted.
Lord, have mercy on our country.
