I had a bad day today, I ended it with some cheesecake. What kind of things do you do when you have a bad day? Or are you like my grandparents, who never had a bad day? (BTW, they had terrible fertility issues, had to adopt because they couldn't be parents otherwise, etc, so they obviously had bad days, but they'd never admit it.)

I try not to dwell on frustrations/stress too much, or it just seems to make it worse. But at the end of a bad day, my favorite thing is just to curl up and watch a movie with a fire going.

I also like to go for a really long run. It helps me feel like I'm running away from my problems. Then when I get tired, I come back and less stressed out about it all.

And I like my red wine on a bad day. And good days too. LOL

Yeah, if we have cake in the fridge, I wouldn't mind a slice on a bad day or a good day Cake is just good anytime; cheesecake even better. On a bad day, I like DH to make me a nice cup of Indian coffee (it takes him about 10 minutes to make it, which includes several minutes of stirring!) so it's tiring... but it tastes incredible!

Hmmm, Idk anything about Indian tea.

I said today was going to be better than yesterday, it started out worse...but it has improved at least, something I can't say about yesterday, ugh!

I do what I can to get through it! Cake helps. So does a warm bath and/or a glass of wine.

If I'm having a bad day I find something to look forward to and focus on that, like curling up that evening with a good book or a movie or TV show I love. When I'm not pregnant I love coffee in the morning (I've switched to tea which has less caffeine for now) and wine in the evening sometimes.

If I'm able to I will also put on some music that makes me feel good.

in my world a bad day means someone has died at work or a kid ended up in emerg, so most of my days are manageable with chocolate otherwise
