They are doing good Natasha is finishing her second year of Kindergarten (Catholic school) & has her graduation next month; next year she's off to grade 1. Veronika attended the orientation session for Kindergarten (year 1) yesterday and is excited to start in September; they'll be taking the school bus together. Um, they are also finishing a year of dance school and have their recital coming up early June.
... & Sebastian is great He's simply awesome, I adore him!
Julia - Mommy to 3 sweet kids Natasha, Veronika, and Sebastian
They are great! We decided to save a bit of $$ and keep our lives a little less chaotic this spring, so we didn't put them in soccer. They all participated in a parish program we have called Little Saints, which ended at Easter. The oldest 3 are in piano and swimming lessons right now. With 4 in school, my mornings alone with Logan are pretty quiet. He'll go to pre-K next fall, so it will just be me and the baby!
DH and DS#1 are going to a Catholic boy's camp this summer. Not sure who is more excited, my kid or my hubs! Arc
DD#1 is going to her first summer camp this year too. An all-girls Catholic camp affiliated with Opus Dei.
Courtney will be finishing 2nd grade in 2 weeks. She recently got all advanced on her MAP testing results. I was slightly worried though because while the other two went way up, reading actually went down 2 points, but it was still in advanced so I said "Just forget it Christen."
Rock will be finishing Preschool in one week, and then just over a week after that he'll turn 5. I've kind of been back and forth about sending him to Kindergarten next year, but I've decided it is for the best. I hope I'm right .
LJ has been potty training for a while now. Sadly Nick and I are sucking at it so badly that he should be done, but he isn't. I'm frustrated too, cuz Idk what to do to fix what's happening now.
Amber will turn 2 in June. She's showing me more and more she's not a baby anymore.
Yeah, most of the U.S. runs late August through the end of May/first-week of June. It would cost a ton more to have them in school in June cuz of air conditioning that isn't as needed in the last week of August, which is normally all they're in for in August. And well Courtney's school has like 8 classrooms that don't even have AC so that would just be miserable!
they're all great!
Nolan-5.5y-three weeks left of preschool, working on his alphabet and numbers, working on writing his full name and three letter sight cards, registered for English Catholic kinder in Sept and he'll be going on the bus! loves his piano lessons
Elizabeth-4y-doing well in this preschool, registered for Nolan's speech preschool for Sept for one year, thinks she's a ballerina, loves Joseph, fights with the rest of the boys
Arthur-3y3m-getting his first set of AFOs this friday-he's a bad toe walker so they want him in these for six months-harder on us than him, lots of new words and phrases, thinks he's a rockstar, starts piano in Sept
Theodore-3y3m-crazy huge vocabulary, very artistic and musically inclined, same reading/writing level as Nolan, doing super great in piano lessons, gives me the most attitude of all the kids
Joseph-ten months old this week! Sits well, hates tummy time thus a late roller (all my kids are), big raspberry blower and says dada and hi, super-easy going baby-he's such an amazing blessing
