I went to church this am!!
We've been really bad this year, between dh working and my school and kids sick and life, and a bit of lazyness, we've been to church maybe four times since we finished RCIA a year ago. This morning I decided to take DS1 and dh stayed with the littles. It was really good! I had time to explain to N the meaning of communion etc, which I normally don't if we're busy with the other kids, or he's in children's church etc. Today it was just us and kids' church doesn't start until October-it was great!
I really needed this and I'm so glad I took that first step again

Good for you! I know sometimes I really have to force myself to go and getting the kids ready in he morning and then tag teaming with dh with the kids. Yeah its hard but if we skip mass I feel bad and miss it.

Hope you keep getting to go . I think you may be tied with dh. He went at Easter, First Communion, and like once or twice beyond that maybe...oh Terra's Baptism. So it may just be those 3 in 2012...giving him some credit he does work a lot of Sundays and Saturdays...but...
