Do you have a routine or special time where you pray with your children? Do your kids say prayers before bed? How do you incorporate prayer into your family life?

Our girl is still too small for that, but I know it's something my husband really wants to incorporate later on.
I do also and really need to work on my own before I encourage her to do it.

I used to do the whole "kneel in front the bed" thing with the kids every nite. We had a ritual for years! I am sad to say that we only pray together now for meals, random times, and when we go on vacation or drive anywhere as a family. I need to start up again, as my kids still need me!

We try to have morning prayers and devotions, prayers before meals, and family Rosary in the evening. I encourage them to do an examination of conscience and say an act of contrition before they go to sleep, but I leave that up to them.

That's the perfect time to start!

I don't know about that, I think I'm gonna wait a while longer... she has a 5-sec attention span, it just won't work now.

What I meant is, now is your opportunity to let her see you praying. She can play in the floor (or bouncer or whatever) while you pray your rosary, read your Bible, whatever you do. It will always have been a part of her experience, and eventually she will want to join you.

BTW- that is the most fantastic hair I have ever seen on such a little one. She is a real cutie!
