My family, specifically my brother, could use extra prayers right now. He came home from the MTC today. He said he had something he had to take care of. I didn't pry, and I'm not entirely sure I want to know. He hopes to return, probably within the next six months, but I think he's going to have a hard time dealing with whatever it is he has to deal with.

My day wasn't any better than his has been. I discovered-the hard way-that overripe bananas and oversensitive gag reflexes do NOT mix. I vomited up breakfast and diarrhea-d out dinner (twice.) I know that's TMI, but that's my life! I didn't get a nap (which I know sounds whiny, but the last time I didn't get a nap was also the last time I vomited, coincidentally enough) and it's just made for a crappy day. Now I'm rounding it out with heartburn--just to be fair

So, should you have extra prayers, my poor little family could use some.

I'm sorry you and your family are having a hard time. You'll be in my prayers Jackie!

"The Lord compensates the faithful for every loss. That which is taken away from those who love the Lord will be added unto them in His own way. While it may not come at the time we desire, the faithful will know that every tear today will eventually be returned a hundredfold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude..... These experiences, while often difficult to bear at the time, are percisely the kinds of experiences that stretch our understanding, build our character and increase our compassion for others."

Oh honey, that's tough. I'll pray. It's good that he made that decision in the mtc though, rather than out in the field.

Love you bunches honey. It's worth it, I promise.

I will certainly keep your family in my prayers. I'm so sorry that you're experiencing struggles right now.
P.S. Try Zantac for the heartburn. Both my regular OB and my high risk OB approved it for use during pregnancy and it really helps me out a lot.
