So I have been in my new ward for 7 months now. I've had a calling for 6 months, been a visiting teacher for 4 months. James was interviewed by the Bishop last month to be baptized. So imagine my surprise, when during ward business today, the Bishop read aloud our names as being new move ins to the ward. Needless to say I did not stand up, but I did laugh. And the lady behind us told me it was about time we moved into the ward. I don't know where the mix up was, but our records had been in our new ward for 7 months. Strange!
Talk about them being a little late there! That is funny! It reminds me of a couple of weeks ago when DH and I were sustained in our calling. Of course you have to stand and DH helps me out of those aweful pews. We were first on the list and the councilor made it a point to say over the pulpit that maybe he shouldn't have made me stand being so pregnant. I laughed at that one.
