Ani and Cameron have decided to do projects. Ani will be working her way through Cooking Rocks for Kids by Rachael Ray. Cameron will be working his way through a ginormous book on baking bread. Their plans are to do a recipe (or meal in some cases for Ani) a week and take pictures and blog about it. Jamie may do the same using a Mediterranean cookbook we have. They are out now (Jamie and the big kids) going to the dump and library and spending a gift card Cameron got and while they are out they are going to get a few ingredients they each need for their first recipes. Cooking Rocks starts with a section for 4-6 plus a grown-up helper so Ani's going to let Fritz work with her for those recipes and she gets to be the "grown-up" helper. We've made most of the recipes in that cookbook, or rather I have, so this should be fun for her to improve her cooking skills while making recipes we know are good.
