I didn't realize she'd like it so much! (oatmeal + breast milk)

She wasn't quite sure about the first bite


Then she started leaning forward and chomping on the spoon


Then she started staring at Patrick's banana like she wanted to go for it


That was her between every bite


She ate quite a bit more than I expected her to. I really didn't think she'd be ready but since she'd been waking up at night to nurse again and nursing more often during the day, I figured we'd give it a try.

Adrian was like that when he started solids. He was about the same age as Allison. He was begging for them from 3 1/2 months but that was just too young to me lol He still loves to eat.

I started Patrick at 3 1/2 months because he was grabbing food off my plate! Then we only did purees for a couple months because he started not letting me spoon feed him, so I started doing finger foods for him to feed himself. Crazy boy loved to eat. Now...he just grazes. Drives me crazy.

how cute! Victor wasn't interested in solids at all until he was 6 months old and he's still a bit pickier than I would like...but it could be worse. The kid LOVES to nurse!
