Hi all. My husband and I just found out we're (I'm?) pregnant! We have been married almost 5 years and have never used any kind of birth control so it has taken us some time to get pregnant. Just curious as to how any of you felt during your first few weeks after finding out. I am so happy, already love our little poppy baby (the first thing I read said something about the baby is the size of a poppy seed, thus I call him/her our poppy baby!) but I am so nervous/scared about something happening since its taken us so long to get pregnant. I pray about it, had my husband give me a blessing but still I don't feel 100% at peace. I have anxiety normally, which I am trying very hard to be calm and what not for the baby, but do any of you have any suggestions on how I can reach a more peaceful place? Thanks!

First off, welcome to the board and congratulations on your pregnancy! I know that pregnancy is different for everyone. I know that I was terrified that something was going to go wrong with the pregnancy I got Marsi. I also had 5 early losses before her. You have every right to feel nervous. I know that I had many, many blessings through my pregnancy. Do what you need to to feel more calm. It will be nice to get to know you!
