I have been really lucky. Marsi has been in nursery since she was 14 months old. Before I was a mom, I didn't understand why moms would want to put their babies into nursery so young. Now...I think there should be 2 nurseries. One for 12-18 months and one for 18 months+ before they go to primary. I swear the 12-18 month time period is one where you get nothing out of church because handling a toddler is crazy. WDYT?

I think that's being a mom. One of my kids refused to go to nursery until 26 months old. I think nursery at 18 months is perfect because it's a class, not baby-sitting.

Understandable. I actually took her out of nursery because of this. 6 months of hardship is worth it to give them a little more time to grow. Church isn't about ease. Thanks for being honest Heather!

Our wards have all had the informal nursery for 12-18 month olds in the foyer. They all end up there anyway! Its such a hard age! Non of my kids would go into the nursery by themselves anyway. My 2 1/2 yrs old still needs me. I help hold other kids that need attention.
