Ok ladies- I think we need a cute theme for our due date club. I've seen some cute ideas in the other DDC like March Lucky Charms/ Leprechauns. I've been calling the bean my little junebug, but I don't know if that's a theme we could take very far.
Does anyone have any ideas? Or are you opposed to the theme idea?
I'm not opposed to themes at all, I think it's cute! I think Junebug is probably the first thing that comes to mind and could be a pretty common theme on here, though I haven't checked. If we want to be unique, we could try to think of something different. I'm not picky, I'll go with whatever. I'm off to the store to get my DD some leggings and such for her dance class...but I'll do some brainstorming while I'm gone!
I was in June '09 DDC and we were the Junebugs. I think, generally, DDC's kind of stick to the same theme because there isn't much more you can choose that earlier DDC's of the same month have chosen.
I'll go with whatever, too. I do think we should wait a bit, as we will have many more members in the coming weeks, but maybe at some point we can set up a poll with a few different ideas and let everybody vote.
I think hosts come in right around the 10 week mark, so I am sure at that point we will have something going.
Oh- I LOVE beach bums! That is too cute. I think it's a good idea to keep thinking of ideas and then later on, when we have more members, we can do a poll.
