Ok, I have had solid constant cramps for a week now. Not like horrible, double you over cramps, but like night before you're about to start cramps that definitely make themselves known around the clock from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. Everything I read says "implantation cramps" but isn't implantation way over by now? It's just freaking me out as a newbie because if this thing is only 2 mm long, why should I have constant pain and crmaping at this point for this long?
I have been cramping quite a bit too- there are TONS of reasons for it in early pregnancy. Just as long as its not sharp pains and in your back- you are probably okay Call your doctor if the pains get sharp or worse than period cramping- I had an ectopic pregnancy a few years ago and that was the only reason I went into the doctor-- lucky for me I went in early enough that they found it and I didn't have to have my tubes explode or have surgery- they have medication for ectopic pregnancy now!
Anyway not trying to scare you, but it's something every new pregnant woman needs to be aware of.
The pain I was having was bad enough that I wanted to lie in bed with a heating pad on my back...pretty bad!
The cramping I am having right NOW (normal) is like right before my period, or just gas cramping. It comes and goes and I can function normal throughout the day.
If you are super worried about it, it NEVER hurts to call and talk to your doctors nurse on the phone- they will make you feel better about it, if nothing else!
Cramping on and off here. This is my #3, so I expected it, but I remember with #1 I freaked out anytime I felt a cramp. Don't worry yourself too much..it's normal as long as it's not excruciating and there's no blood with it.
Ok, that makes me feel much better then. Yes, this is my first, and I've had several friends and cousins have losses recently that were way further along than this, so I guess I'm just jumpy, and really have no idea what to expect. We're not telling anyone till after the first doc appointment, so having y'all to bounce questions off of is really reassuring.
Thanks so much!
