I know it is too early for me to be growing at all yet, but I figure if I get in the habit of using lotion on my stomach now then maybe I'll continue to do it throughout the pregnancy to lessen the chance of stretch marks. I know the can obviously still happen though, thankfully my mom didn't get any so I'm hoping I got that from her.
Anyone else going to try anything to try to keep the stretch marks minimal?
I use lotion everyday, anyway but I don't get stretch marks too badly. I had a few on my hips, boobs and low belly but they faded to almost nothing.
Unfortunately, I don't think anything will prevent stretch marks. It is hereditary, so if they are going to happen, they are going to happen. It certainly doesn't hurt to put lotion on, though, since stretching skin tends to get really itchy.
