Is anyone considering getting a maternity swim suit since we'll be pregnant in the summer?

I have a 2 piece, but it has a top that is A frame anyways so it'll work as either. I'm not going to buy a maternity one... altho I LIVE at the beach in the summertime I might end up taking off of work early especially being due in August, I cannot work in a 120 degree kitchen cooking for our restaurant hugely pregnant... we'll see.

I've never been pregnant enough in the summer to need one (Cora was born in May, Erin in June, and Patrick was conceived in June so I still fit in my regular suit). But my kids love going to the splash park in the hot summer, and it's nice to cool off for me too, so I'll probably be getting one.

I don't like wearing swimsuits anyway, so I might skip it. We're taking a trip in April and we'll be staying on the beach, but I think I can get away with a coverup. I'll be I think 23-24 weeks so I might even be able to buy just a larger tankini top and regular bottoms to wear in the water.

If I look okay (and I did with l and C) I'll just wear a regular two piece suit.

I'll be getting one. Jenna and I spent a lot of time at the beach last summer, and I won't fit my regular suit at all.

I have a 2 piece that will work so I won't have to buy a maternity swimsuit. They're expensive and I can't justify getting one that I'll wear only a few times. I usually end up in a t-shirt and shorts anyway since I burn in the sun no matter how much sunscreen I wear.

I've already been looking at them on the internet. They are crazy expensive, well, I guess they are compared to the $20-30 I would normally spend on a swimsuit. I will definitely be getting one!

I will be getting one for sure. My daughter is like a fish and lives in the pool during the summer lol. I have some black bottoms that fit so I think ill just get a black maternity top.

Possibly. Allie loves the pool & being outdoors so I'm sure I'll cave. But I'm going to look for the most coverage as possible.... a bathing suit burkha perhaps

I had one during my last pregnancy but got rid of it. I wish I had kept it now. I will probably look for a cheap one, but I won't go out of my way because I am not sure there will be an opportunity for me to swim much.

Since I live seaside and the beach is 5 minutes from my house, I'd say that it would be a mandatory purchase for me. I wont hide myself away!

Yup cause it gets HOT here. Not sure yet what I'll do for it, since I am so pale I usually wear a swim shirt and shorts over my swimsuit (less area I have to slather in sunscreen) and I don't know if I will be able to find maternity versions of those.

Definitely. I am in TEXAS which is super hot...and both of my in-laws have swimming pools that I am sure I will live in again. Now I am going to go look at them online!
