I am not sure.... I have a tiny slightly stuffy nose. One that keeps me from breathing comfortably at night. Woke up this morning with a horrible bout of ms. I was making DF lunch and sat down. He asked what was wrong. I said wave of nausea...which turned into the worst wave I have had this pregnancy..... I had to move onto the couch and sit there, eyes shut.... then the sweating started. It passed after 7 minutes.... but noticed I was slightly shakey after. I can't attempt work like this...no way. I need a day to recoup....

Anyone else go thru this? The nasal issue/ ms/ anything?

I check several week-by-week pregnancy sites each week, so I don't remember which one is was, but they said by this time (I'm 8 weeks), you might be getting clogged sinuses or sniffles. Seems random to me, but I do have them too!

I also have them, and I know Spyctre posted in our NTNP grads forum that she has it too, and it's called Pregnancy Rhinitis. I had it with DS as well - basically just a nuissance!

Yup. I've had this for a couple weeks now. My sister had a stuff nose throughout both of her pregnancies and it literally cleared up the day she gave birth. It's annoying, isn't it?

I've had a real bad cold for the past 3 days. This is the second day I've called off. I've been trying home remedies (putting face over steaming water with towel over my head, chicken broth, hot tea) I feel SLIGHTLY better today, but still BLAH!

Good I don't feel so bad. I was worried. I feel bad not going to work, but I think maybe it's my bodies way of saying 50 hours a week 6 days a week is a bit much.....
So trying to rest, but being the manager has me worried about the outcome of the day when I go in tomorrow.......

I hope everything is good at work when you get in tomorrow! Try not to worry about it too much and enjoy your free day. :-) I've had the stuffy nose so far with both pregnancies. With my son the severity of it came and went. And that MS thing you were talking about - yeah. Right there with you. UGH.

For the past few weeks I've woken up with a slightly stuffy nose and spent the next hour sneezing. Later in the day I'm fine. I just chalked it up to this crazy weather.

I have had one for weeks that I can't seem to kick. It seems to have settled into my chest. Yesterday I spent the entire day in bed!

I'm sorry to hear that honey. My fiance put a movie on last night around 5 I fell right to sleep on him....woke up at 7 stayed awake til 830 and then went to bed again.

Is vapo rub okay to use? I find that some times when I have a stuffy nose it helps....
Oh and a vaporizor??

Oh yes, I have been sick for about a week now, maybe a little longer. I had a bad earache, too and was praying it didn't turn in to an ear infection. It doesn't hurt as badly anymore though.

Nose all stopped up, can't breathe, itchy throat, face full of pressure...etc

I do have a cold right now. It hit me hard yesterday. Stuffy/runny nose, sore throat, headache, and I don't feel like do much. I'm actually working from home today. Going to stay cozy.

I've been sick for two weeks, finally getting over a head cold--nausea seems better, though

I get that stuffy nose pregnancy thing. I had it with my last DD and I seem to have it this time again. Lots of sneezing and a stuffy nose.

I think I have a cold, and was thinking about trying to get into the doc to check it out, but if it seems pretty normal for pregnancy (this is my first. Well, second, but I lost the first at around 6 weeks and I don't know how far along I am now) than I won't bother. Lot's of green stuff, caughing, tight feeling throat and headaches. I sneezed a little yesterday. But then again, I live in Texas. It'll be 70 degrees one day, 30 the next then in the 60's the day after that haha. So that could have something to do with it. No m/s yet, if I'm going to have any at all. My ears have been hurting too but I have a bad history of ear infections and will probably go in for that.
