Ok so I'm stealing the idea from previous journal posters . I'll make a little bit of a timeline:
-Sept 27, 2004 had first dd via C/S
-March 2007 had m/c
-April 2007 got bfp & had healthy baby girl in December via c/s
-Had Mirena IUD removed in Feb 2009 due to all the bad side effects I was having and I wanted to try and have another baby but my hormones and cycles were completely messed from the Mirena (obviously the doctors won't tell you that but I just know my body)
-April 2010 got BFP but had m/c a week later
-Started to chart my temps and CM after that m/c and after a lot of research I though I had a progesterone and I wasn't ovulating on my own. so before going to the doctors I thought I would try an all natural approach. I started out with just adding an extra 100mg of b6 to the prenatal that I was already taking.
-Oct 2010 I started using soy isoflavones for CDs 3-7 hoping that it would help me ovulate. I noticed that my temps and that cycle were more normal then they have ever been. I def ovulated and it was on CD16 instead of 22 (or later if i was at all before).
-Nov 2010 ended up in the ER and had to have my gall bladder removed so I didn't end up taking any soy, nor was I going to be dtd at all .
-Dec 2010 took all my vitamins & soy as normal but I wasn't temping. I did take note as to when we dtd but that was it. By this time honestly I have given up the thought that we would get preggers again. I didn't have much hope because it has been almost 2 years and nothing but a m/c.
-Jan 2011 Went to my mother-in-laws and had some drinks thinking there was no way I was pregnant. I didn't get really sick like I normally would if I were to drink (I never drink). My bbs starting hurting me and I felt some cramping so I thought AF was on the way but to my surprise I had a BFP. One of the funny things about this is that my LMP date for my first pregnancy with my dd was December 6, 2003 and this time it was December 6, 2010. When it was New Years 2004 I didn't know I was preggers and I did the same thing I had a few drinks and then found out (I wasn't trying to concieve at that time). Now my due date is the same as it was for my first. Anyways, I just found that a little weird. So that is my journey so far. I just pray that I can stay here and continue this journal because Lord knows how scared I am that I am going to loose this one too. But I will feel better once I go to the doctors on the 25th.
So just when I thought that this pregnancy would be like my other 2 and I would have no nausea...think again. I am constantly nausious and the only thing that helps is me eating. And of course it has to be something that sounds appitizing to me at the time (which isn't many things at all). Tomorrow I have my first appointment and I am hoping that they do an ultrasound. I'm so scared, thinking that something will be wrong like before. But till then I'll try to not think about it. Off to go eat!
Congrats on the pregnancy! And it seems like being really nauseous is a good sign, right? So other than the obvious "yuck" factor of feeling ill, don't let that get you down. As a mom, you do plenty of taking care of other people... let them take care of you for once.
